Connecting your domain to your Mind Byte hosting

If you've registered your domain with Mind Byte and signed up for hosting, you'll still need to link the two manually — this doesn't happen automatically, even if you bought both from us. In the client portal, go to Manage DNS for your domain and click Point to Hosting. This connects your domain to your hosting account without you needing to enter nameservers by hand.

If you've registered your domain elsewhere and want to point it at your Mind Byte hosting, you'll need to update your domain's nameservers. Log in to wherever your domain is registered, find the DNS or Nameservers section, and replace the existing nameservers with the ones provided in your Mind Byte hosting welcome email or client portal.

Nameserver changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-48 hours to fully propagate, depending on your previous provider. During this time it's normal for your site to be briefly unreachable or to show old content for some visitors.
