Uploading your website and installing a CMS

There are a couple of common ways to get your website files onto your Mind Byte hosting.

Using File Manager

Log in to the client portal, open your hosting account, and launch File Manager. You can drag and drop files directly, or upload a zip and extract it on the server. This is the quickest option for small sites or one-off updates.

Using FTP

For larger sites or ongoing development, connect with an FTP client (like FileZilla) using the FTP hostname, username, and password. These are the same as your hosting service credentials. This lets you sync files between your computer and your hosting account directly.

Installing a CMS (e.g. WordPress)

Our hosting plans include a one-click installer, multiple actually. Look for WordPress Management in the side menu of cPanel if you want to install WordPress, or to install something else, use Installatron or Softaculous. Follow the prompts to set your site URL, admin username, and password.
